Conner's latest achievement

During the week in Palm Springs he found his feet. I know it sounds odd, but he's so proud of himself, he was especially proud the first time he managed to get them both. He plays with them and is trying to get them to his mouth now. It's great too cause it's his latest thing that keeps him entertained so Mommy gets 5 mins of time.

His other latest thing is he loves to try to talk when you talk to him and responds with the cutest coos and sounds. Sometimes he'll go on and on for a good 15 mins off and on as you're talking to him.

Palm Springs vacation

A very dear friend (You know who you are! And we definitely couldn't ever thank you enough for your kind gift!) gave us the use of their vacation spot for a week and we had such a marvelous time. Spent lots of time reading, lounging by the pool, enjoying quality sun and not doing much else. It was wonderful. God is soooo good to us.

Summer fun

We went to a nearby park with a pool today with Grammy and A. Feli and the cousins, Dean and Noelle. It was pretty fun. They had a cute little kiddy pool only 1 foot deep, so even Conner could stand up in it. Here's some pix, we also got some cute ones of Dean & Noelle, but we'll give Feli a chance to post them.

Conner's latest updates

Conner is growing and changing so much. He plays with his hands and feet a lot and now is into toys, books, pictures, anything he can get his hands on and into his mouth. He tries to sit up by himself (though hasn't succeeded yet) and He loves being outside. I took some videos of him playing in his activity gym, but I'll have to see if I can find some time to edit it enough to upload it for your enjoyment.

It's so hard to capture the cute moments of babies, cuz they make a million faces and poses and don't hold any of them long enough for a simple camera to capture. But I got pretty close yesterday. Doesn't he look adorable here?
