After our friends left to visit other friends, we went back to visit some more with Michael's family as Luca and Claire and cousin Julian had just arrived from England. We had some more beach time with them and then another friend invited us to their mountain villa for the day, complete with a beautiful pool and all, so we spent a couple days there enjoying the pool and our lovely family and friends.

Tower of Pisa!

After spending a couple days with Michael's family, we then had some friends join us from Germany -- Joykie, Stef and their cutie, Kai. It was great fun for the boys to have another kid around to play with, although I'm not sure he felt the same, haha!

We visited the Tower of Pisa with them and had a picnic there, went to the beach, ate lots of gelato, pizza, drank lots of coffee and spent a lot of time just enjoying a few beautiful Tuscan cities near us.

The Tower of Pisa made quite an impression on Conner, he still talks about and tells people about how the tower is falling and leans over. As soon as he saw the tower he told me, "Look, Mommy, the tower is falling!! Like this!!!" And leaned over and then we told him he could try to hold it up so he did that, here's a few pix as well as a few others of the town there just in case it might be interesting to look at.

Trevor has started walking!! He took his first steps around 9mns, but just a couple days ago he really started talking off. Yay! I'll post a video as soon as I can.

We went over to see Michael's parents and we took the kids to a park, and we also had Conner sample his first Gelato, which was the beginning of his love affair.

Pictures from Italy...finally!

For the few readers to our blog, here, at last, are some of the pix from Italy. It's taken me some time to get them up as the jetlag hit the kids kind of bad on the way home so there really hasn't been time.

Anyway, to start at the beginning, we just spent 3 weeks in beautiful Italy -- visiting Tuscany (including Pisa, Florence and other gorgeous cities and countryside) and then we traveled North near Milan to visit other friends and family.

So here's the start of the pictures, I'll do my best to post them as quickly as possible.

Oh well, blogger messed up the layout for me, but here are some pictures from our airport time...since that was a significant part of our trip. We had booked an overnight flight from San Fran to Paris and then a stopover with a short flight to Milan, Italy. However, the flight ended up taking off an hr late and a half late, so we ended up missing our connecting flight to Italy and waiting another 7 hrs for the next flight. So we had lots of airport time...
