I love you Dad. I couldn't of wished for a better or more perfect Father. Thank you for all the love, care, concern, support, understanding and more that you've given us all these years and continue to. You never cease to amaze me with what you do, who you are and what a big heart you have for each one of us and our families. I hope you had the happiest of days and I pray that this new year brings a lot of deep happiness, contentment, fulfillment, and much more of all those things that mean the most to you. With so much love from all of us!

More Fall fun!
It's been a bit rainy here of late, so we've resorted to indoor activities with the kids -- the latest craze is baking (probably because I'm not too skilled in the "arts"). The kids enjoy it though, which is the reason for it all and usually ask at least once a day when we're going to do it again. Our latest and greatest was "Harvest Pumpkin Cupcakes" (well, this is an old post, today we made "Oatmeal Raisin Cookies", Dean's request). Here are a few of the pix.

Oma's Pumpkin Patch
We took the kids to Oma's Pumpkin Patch which our dear friend Nadia Paone introduced us to last year. Conner was so small last year so he didn't get to go on all that much, but it's an amazing place. It has so much for most all kids to do and enjoy, including hay rides, a dump truck station, petting zoo, playgrounds (one for 5 and under and one for 5+), tractors and quads, cotton seed sledding and then each kid gets a free pumpkin and bottle of water :P. Apparently I also found out they do something for the Christmas season too. We all had so much fun! If you are ever in town during these seasons and have kids, I definitely would recommend this place. Anyway, here are a few pix we took from yesterday.

Pacific Beach!...and other pix.
Went to PB for the first time ever and I've been in SD for almost seven years, can you believe it?? Anyways, it was fun. We were actually trying to go to Pirates Cove, but apparently it has closed down, so we walked on the beach, took Conner on the carousel, which he LOVED!! and other little rides. So all's well that ends well.
Here some pix from that and other random events from last month.
In other thoughts...I can't believe October is here already...just a month until Halloween, almost two months till Thanksgiving and 3 months until Christmas -- hurrah! :)
