Conner writing!

Conner's had a recent school craze where that's all he wants to do. So I got him a little preschool workbook which has little pre-writing exercises, and even some writing in it and started doing it with him and he just LOVES it! He's learned how to hold his pencil real well and he even knows how to write some letters and numbers all by himself. I'm pretty amazed at how quickly he's caught on! And I just LOVE his joy for learning!

I took a couple pictures as I thought it was just too cute.

And lastly one of Trevor coloring, since he's just too cute. ;)

Sunday morning pancakes!

It's taken a while for my boys to catch on to this idea (thankfully it's not one of the more important foods)...but they finally love it even tho it doesn't show in their expressions. :)

Trevor is one and a half today!

Seems like a milestone of some sort. :) I haven't gotten any weight or height measurements recently but will tomorrow.

Happy half-bday my baby!

Happy birthday Honey!

Thanks for being an awesome Daddy and Husband. You're all a girl could ask for. I hope this year is your best in every way - you certainly deserve it!

Conner's creations.

Recently, Conner's gotten really into building blocks and has a lot of fun coming up with new creations. He's so proud of each one that he makes and so are we! Here is one of a house he made...

PS: These pix were taken with a phone...

Recent everyday pix...

Lego store at the mall...the boys loved the computer games.

Cousin time
Thought this little spot he found to watch a video was adorable (don't be fooled though, it didn't last more than a second, ha!).

Lake Tahoe!

Right after Christmas we went to Lake Tahoe for the first time for a couple of days. Unfortunately, there wasn't much snow there, but it was a fun time nonetheless. On the way there we found some places with snow so we let the kids there for a bit. Once in Tahoe, since there wasn't a whole lot in town, we took a lift up to a ski spot where there was snow so the kids could enjoy snow.

We also walked around the town of Tahoe, which is so cute and fun.

The lift up the mountain to the snow.

Daddy and Conner on the lift.
Snow! Trevor fell asleep shortly after we got there.

The snow was bright!

Iced fountain in town.
A view of the gorgeous lake!

Conner climbed this by himself.
We took a drive all around the lake and found another gorgeous spot -- Kings Beach in North Tahoe. So we spent a little time there. It also had a park right on the beach which was fun for the kids.

On the peer at the Beach. Trev was pretty mesmerized by the water in-between the wood planks.

Lake Tahoe is so breaktaking...I'm glad it went as it was nice to get away for a few days and catch the amazing views. I definitely hope to return!
